360 Panorama Instructions and FAQ

Tips to get your best 360 Panorama yet:
- Make as tight of a circle as you can.
- Make a single smooth pass.
- Choose good light over low light.
- In low light: move, pause, move, pause...
Capture a panorama?
- Press the button in the center of the bottom navigation bar to start capturing.
- Start moving around slowly. You will see the panorama being built in real-time.
- If you are indoors or low light, you may need to pause as you move around.
- To finish capturing, press the button again.
Save to my camera roll?
- After capturing your panorama, select save from the bottom toolbar.
- Your panorama will be saved to your camera roll.
Upload a panorama to my Occipital account?
- Click upload on the bottom toolbar.
- Select your options.
- Select start upload.
- If you haven't already created an account, you'll be guided through this process.
- Once uploaded, click view my panorama view.
Create an Occipital account?
- Your Occipital account is created while using the 360 Panorama app.
- From the capture screen, select the picture icon in the lower left corner.
- Select Account from the pop up menu.
- Scroll to the bottom of the account page and click the link which says, "Need an account? Create an account".
- Create your account with an email address, or by connecting through Facebook or Twitter.
Connect to my Facebook and Twitter accounts?
- Access your account via the picture icon on the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
- Select Account.
- Select sharing accounts.
- Select edit.
- Select add account.
- Select Twitter or Facebook.
- Enter your account info.
- Lather, rinse, repeat for all desired social network accounts.
Email a 360 View?
- After capturing, upload your panorama to your Occipital account.
- Select share from the bottom navigation bar.
- Select Email 360.
- If you haven't already uploaded the panorama, select Start Upload
- Enter the email address(es) you would like to share your panorama with.
- Add a personal message and send.
Email a flat panorama image?
- After capturing, select email share from the bottom navigation bar.
- Select Email Flat.
- Enter the email addresses you would like to share your panorama with.
- Add a personal message.
- Send.
Delete a panorama from my Occipital account?
- Select the small picture icon in the lower left corner of the capture screen.
- Select account.
- Select view my panoramas.
- When prompted, select open in Safari.
- You will be in your 360 Panorama account. In the lower left corner of each image there will be a small trashcan icon. Press to delete.
- Click OK to confirm deletion.
Delete a panorama from my iPhone?
- Open Photos and select camera roll.
- Select the image you would like to delete.
- Click the trash can icon in the lower toolbar.
- Confirm deletion.
Delete a panorama from your account via the web?
- View your account at http://occipital.com/account/panoramas.
- Select the small trash can icon in the upper right corner of the panorama you wish to delete.
- Confirm deletion by pressing ok.
Log into your Occipital account (on your device)?
- From the capture screen, select the small 2 photo icon in the lower left corner.
- From the pop up, select Account, Login.
- Sign into your Occipital account using your email and password or through your connected Twitter or Facebook account.
- You are now logged in to your account.
Open a panorama saved to your device’s camera roll?
- From the capture screen, select the small 2 photo icon in the lower left corner.
- From the pop up, select Photo Albums.
- Select the library containing your panorama (by default panoramas are stored to the camera roll).
- Select the panorama you want to open.
- The panorama will open in 360 Panorama.
Open a panorama saved to your Occipital account on your device?
- From the capture screen, select the small 2 photo icon in the lower left corner.
- From the pop up, select Account.
- From your account page, select View My Panoramas.
- On the pop up, select Open.
- Your account will open in Safari.
Update Your Occpital Account Photo?
- From the capture screen select your icon in the top right corner (you must be logged in).
- On your account page, tap your photo.
- Select the photo you would like to use by taking a photo, choosing an existing photo, or using your Twitter/FB icon.
Embed a 360 View on my blog or website?
- Access your account at http://occipital.com/account/login.
- Click embed, copy code, and paste as you wish.
